Even though I like the idea of having tab-separated (color)filter files. It
does have a drawback. If you use a new version of wireshark installed that does
support tab-based filter files and you change a filter, the filter file will be
written tab-based. Moving back to a previous version of wireshark will make all
the filters invalid.

When the @ character is escaped, only the filters with an escaped @ will be
invalid.

For most users going back and forth between versions is not a big deal, but I
guess there is quite a few people that do move back and forth between different
versions. To me that is to big a cost for being able to use the @ in the name
or filter string of a coloring rule.
