Hi, I don't think Lua support is that bad.  I works very well, but may still
miss some input validations and even have some bugs.  The main reason for this,
I think, is because the Lua support in Wireshark is not so widely used yet. 
When more people uses it (and report bugs) we will get solid support.  So thank
you for your reports, we will make an effort to improve the Lua support.

You will find the code for all push functions in wslua.h, about line 260, where
we have a define (WSLUA_CLASS_DEFINE) making all this functions.
