Hi everyone,

    I was just wondering if you people could help me out.


I intend to do two things.

1. Capture the packets (using Ethereal) flowing between a voip conversation ( taking place through softphones installed in two PCs).

I guess to do this we have to install Ethereal in a Linux system and operate it in the monitor mode. But , i am not able to understand how to operate Ethereal in monitor mode and how to go about.



2.Use the caputured information and try to bring back the voice
( speech) from it.




Can anyone please suggest me how to go about ?
