I am a programmer and want to use ethreal to debug my network program, but I encountered some problem.
Please help.

I have a server listening on local machine port 2002(TCP), a client will connect to the server and send some message(byte stream), how could I trace these messages? (my server and client is on the same machine)

I reference from the manual, and it seems that the server and client may not on the same machine, ( some loopback interface donot support ) , it's right ? 

I use ethreal on windows 2000 professional, and has a real network card.

any help would be much appreciated !
