Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Hard reboot when attempting to open Ethereal dialogs

Ethereal: Win32-0.9.2
WinPCap : v2.2

When I run Ethereal it comes up fine. If I attempt to start sniffing,
there's a brief (less than 1 second) pause and then my whole system does a
hard reset. No error messages, or crashes, we're talking about full-blown
"Let's start from the POST".

I discovered that even attempting to access the Preferences does this. I'm
guessing there's a problem with one of the Windows dialog or display
libraries. Since I used to use Ethereal in the past on this system, that
seems likely.

Any suggestions on what to look for, or is this a known issue? Haven't been
able to track it down yet through the website.
