Hi!

First, Thanks a lot for your good job!

I have installed all required packages, libpcap of LBL, glib-1.2.6, gtk+-1.2.6
and ethereal-0.8.1. 

My procedures are following, which caused a problem, "core dumped".

1. As a root, I executed 'ethereal'.

2. I selected 'Capture -> Start' in the menu bar.

3. An interface is shown. I modified the count box to 500 and inserted 
   '/tmp/pcapture' in the file box. Then I clicked 'OK'.

4. Some logging messages were displayed, but after that 
    the ethereal was killed automatically with 'core dumped'.

When I have the ethereal open the log file, '/tmp/pcapture'. 
also it was killed with the log message displaying and then 'core dumped'.

But for the first time after installation, the ethereal worked. But after that,
it has been killed.

The OS is Sun Solaris 2.7.

How can I fix it????
