Hi, I would like to run Ethereal on my Win98SE. But if I click
  Edit -> Preferences
or
  Capture -> Start
the system freezes immediatly and I have to reboot my machine.
However,
  Help -> About Ethereal
works and gives for example
  Version 0.10.10
  Running with WinPcap (3.0 alpha3) on Windows 98  A , build 67766446.
If I try
  Help -> Supported Protocols
Ethereal does not respond and I have to kill the process.

As I have no idea whats going on, can you please help
me in getting started?
