Hi List!

I have finished the first stage of my DCOM implementation (which at least works OK for me) and want to submit the changes step by step to the CVS tree.

In the list was the announcement for the next release 0.9.16, so I maybe should wait until the release is out of the door, before submitting the changes.

I have no direct access to the CVS server (because of a company firewall), so I think I have to submit the changes by hand, using diff/patch or whatever.

How do I submit the patches? Which tool, which command line? As my development platform is a WinNt using cygwin / python, I am not familiar with the unix diff/patch tools or whatever (but I'm able to learn ;-).

In the file /doc/README.developer I found the following chapter left blank:

1.11 Submitting code for your new dissector.

Maybe the first step for me could be, patching this README file adding this chapter ;-)

Regards,

ULFL
