Hi,

something I find great about NetMon :-( is that it puts a summary in the
detail pane for TCP.  

Eg, where it indicated TCP, it puts in the port numbers, and sequence numbers.

How difficult would it be to do with Ethereal?

This has great pedagogic value.  Ethereal is at the point (modulo SMTP,
which I think I could do in a day) that I could use it in my TPC/IP
courses.  Of course, it would be nice to have the Windows version working
as well.
