Hi,

I was contemplating the need to do things at the TCP level for the SMB
protocol.

For example, when a TCP connection is torn down, the SMB state should
perhaps go with it.  When you see certain sequence numbers, you might want
to know about it at the SMB level etc.

I wondered if callbacks might be the correct way to handle this sort of thing.

Each protocol might register callbacks that the lower level protocols would
call when certain events occur.

I wonder how workable this will be?
