I have had great luck with this WiFi adaptor: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O9X9EU/ref=oss_product

it works out the box with BT4 and supports monitoring and injection. It's also very powerful (1000mw).

I'd recommend deciding which application and operating system your final
solution will be based upon.
For example, using Kismet on a Linux platform has worked nicely, but there
will be limitations on the NIC.
Maybe look into the BackTrack set of tools at remote-exploit.org

After that, perhap's search for Tom's Networking as there will be specific
hardware recommendations once you find their site.

Hello,

I am in the final stage of my master's after some time off. My professor
wants me to make a wardriving setup. Can you guys/gals recommend some
hardware that are easy to setup. I guess I need:

1. GPS Receiver
2. Card with antenna socket
3. Antenna
4.Tools

But what brand and where to buy?
