I am having problems with capturing packets on a multi-processors system. Below is the system configuration.

 

I saw a lot of packets with "TCP ACKed lost segment" and was not able to find the TCP packets that I knew existed in the capture window.

 

I checked WinPcap FAQ. It is stated that starting from ver 3.0, the WinPcap works on SMP machines. So I think I have the correct verison of WinPcap.

 

Any suggestions or advise on how to troubleshoot my problem with capturing TCP traffic will be appreciated.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2

Intel Xeon Server with 4 processors

HP NC373i Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter

Wireshark Version 1.0.0 with WinPcap 4.0.2
