What Stephen Fisher means is that you need to "hub out" (to use a
Laura Chappell term--Laura was one of the presenters at the recently
concluded Sharkfest 2008). It's already obvious you have an ethernet
cable connecting your Extreme to your DSL modem. You need to see
what packets are going between the two and the only way is to insert
a hub between the two--that's what Stephen Fisher is telling you.
A long time ago, using Wireshark, I remember seeing "en0" as a
choice. Now
it's en1 only ...
