Wireshark-users: Re: [Wireshark-users] How to find the application sending a name request?

That was also my first idea but the only network drive mapped does work - as far as I see drives in the explorer and my network places. Can a mapped drive be hidden somewhere? Is there a better way to find mapped drives?

And why should Windows send name requests even though I am trying to open a file on the c: drive or on my USB stick?

Thanks,
  Bob

Is it not just a "Mapped Network Drive" in your Explorer that it tries to contact? If
so, deleting it from the Explorer migth do the trick :)
