Hi,
It was a mistake in the release note, the feature is just about to be
experimentally added. The code has just been checked in(Committed revision
19094) but is not enabled for Windows yet. If you can build it yourself your
welcome to try it out.
Best regards
Anders

Ämne: [Wireshark-users] PortAudio included in 0.99.3 Windows installer?

Dear all,

I am interested in playing out live the contents of RTP streams carrying
audio data while they are being captured. I was therefore quite happy to
read the the release notes for Wireshark 0.99.2 that:

If Wireshark is linked with the PortAudio library, you can now listen to
RTP streams. (PortAudio didn't make the cut in the current Windows
installer. It will be included with 0.99.3.)

To me, this sounded that this would be the feature that I am looking
for.

However, in the release notes for 0.99.3, this feature is not mentioned,
therefore, I am not sure whether it has indeed been added to the
installer. So far, I haven't found anything in the documentation how I
would be able to use this feature, nor have I figured out so far from
within the program how to access that feature, so that I could try it
myself.

Does anyone know anything about this feature?

Thanks!

Joachim
