Does the machine you're compiling on have multiple (logical) CPUs?  If so are you using a parallel make (e.g., `make -j 8` if /proc/cpuinfo indicates 8 CPUs)?

I'm building tshark within a container. Building from the sources usually takes me a long time (around 30 minutes). I've applied the following flags:

        --disable-wireshark

But it is still slow. That's why I was looking for a binary install :-)
