The relevant error is:

and the solution is also included in the message:

The number of objects is not usually a human-useful value, git has an
interesting storage format so you're not going to see e.g. one object
per file. Although the fact that you're pushing 5 MiB seems a bit odd,
that's a *lot* of C code?
