Yes, run it. If you build it correctly, you have binaries in the run/ 
directory. run/wireshark, run/tshark, etc.

I see you have a Yahoo address. If you have logged in on 7 or 8 April via 
webmail, then you should change your password because it got possibly leaked 
via the Heartbleed bug.
