Thanks for the reply Anders.
How do we check whether we have installed that package or not. I have installed many of GTK applications through package manager. Do you know any specific links where you can get GTK dev packages??
Thanks and regards

Did
you install the gtk 2.12 dev package?
Hi all,
i am trying to compile
wireshark-1.7.0-SVN-39443 and i am getting the following error:
"checking
for GTK+ - version >= 2.12.0... no
*** Could not run GTK+ test program,
checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the
file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means
GTK+ is incorrectly installed.
configure: error: GTK+ 2.12 or later isn't
available, so Wireshark can't be compiled"
I am using CentOS- and through package manager i have installed all the
gtk+ 2.12 related applications.
Can somebody please help me to fix this
issue??
Thanks and regards
