Btw. is there any specification of rpcap? 
Or we have only our code and patch for libpcap (from winpcap project)?

I've found sf project of rpcap-libpcap from 2002 http://rpcap.sourceforge.net/


and some nice programs (rpcap-{client, server}), which don't require patched libpcap 
(sniffing is done on tuntap interface) on github: https://github.com/ellzey/rpcap
