GV,
I installed winpcap 4.0.2 and
after a few times of trying I finally received a file in c:\windows\minidump.
File
is attached.
Thanks
Scott

You can try WinPcap 4.0.2, but you would need to use
Wireshark 32bit (I'm not sure if you are running 2008 x86 or x64).

Hi GV,
I tried that and no information
was in the minidumps folder.
Should I try a different version
of WinPcap.
Thanks

Try to enable the generation of minidumps:
1. in the start menu, right click on Computer and choose
"properties"
2. click on "advanced system settings" on the left
3. In the Advanced tab, click on "Startup and
recovery" settings
4. In the "write debugging information" panel
choose "small memory dump" and click ok.
5. reboot your machine and reproduce the crash
Also, I've CC'ed winpcap-bugs, as this is probably a bug in
the WinPcap driver.

GV,
The folder c:\windows\minidump is
empty.
What
should I do next?
Thanks

Sorry,
I didn't see the email with the crashdump 2 days ago...
It
looks like the crash dump is corrupted. Can you please check if you have any
minidumps in c:\windows\minidump?

Graham,
Did you ever receive the
memory.dmp file?
Thanks
Scott
It was Gianluca Varenni
that was looking for the dump file.
