I have a question about license of WireShark. Is it available under GPL V2 or GPL V3. According to your website http://www.wireshark.org/about.html under license section it is availble under GPL V2, but it links to http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html which talks about GPL V3. This is confusing.

 

Please let me know if it is GPLV2 or GPLV3?

If it is GPL V3 please update site and products Help->About Wireshark -> License.

If it is GPL V2 please update link to http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.
