Thus ensuring that we won't get to the bottom of this.

My feeling is that the changes listed above are artefacts of the posters
environment, and not generally necessary.  I'm still inclined to point
the finger at the W2K3 SDK causing the executable to be marked XP or
later.  I'd still be interested in hearing from anyone using the Vista
SDK with VC2005EE.
