Short section on building RPM fordevelopers guide
Hi guys
This patch gives brief instructions on how to build
the RPM package target for Wireshark. It just contains the steps that worked
for me, and a warning on the issues I ran into. It does not contain any
instructions on how to install tools for building RPMs on platforms that
don’t have them, because I don’t know (although it references www.rpm.org).
It’s an incremental improvement on “XXX
– I don’t know”; someone more familiar with Linux / RPMs
might be able to flesh out the instructions.
