I have no strong opinion on that, but note that the menu already has Download,
which (indirectly) allows to download the latest builds, so it would not be
necessary to have a Latest Builds entry in the menu.

That is why I specified "In my book".
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/developer#English lists 6 senses for
"developer". The first one is the general sense. The one you mention is last,
although it is of course much more common in our domain.
The Get Involved page does not concern "software developers" only, it concerns
all potential contributors.
