Compiled (64-bit) with Qt 5.3.2, with libpcap, without POSIX capabilities, with
libz 1.2.5, with GLib 2.36.0, with SMI 0.4.8, without c-ares, without ADNS,
with
Lua 5.2, with GnuTLS 2.12.19, with Gcrypt 1.5.0, with MIT Kerberos, with GeoIP,
with QtMultimedia, without AirPcap.

Running on Mac OS X 10.10.5, build 14F1021 (Darwin 14.5.0), with locale C, with
libpcap version 1.5.3 - Apple version 47, with libz 1.2.5, with GnuTLS 2.12.19,
with Gcrypt 1.5.0.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4980HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (with SSE4.2)

Built using llvm-gcc 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5658) (LLVM build
2336.9.00).

Certain user actions cause an open Expert Information dialog to no longer
display any messages.

Adding, changing or clearing a display filter will cause all the messages
displayed in an open Expert Information dialog to disappear.  If more than one
Expert Information dialog is opened at the same time all but the most recently
opened dialog will display no messages.

Steps to replicate:

1 - Open the attached trace file it Qt based Wireshark.  (This is a small
contrived trace file with packets that trigger Expert Info messages at several
levels.)

2 - Open the Expert Information dialog (click on the small (likely red) circle
in the bottom left hand corner of the Qt Wireshark window OR select the menu
option Analyze -> Expert Information.  

The Expert Information dialog should open and display several messages under
the (Red) Error, (Yellow) Warning, (Grey) Chat and (Green) Comment Severity
trees.

3 - Add a display filter (such as ip) or simply move focus to display filter
and press enter.

All of the messages displayed in the Expert Information dialog will disappear.

Opening a new Expert Information dialog will display the expected Expert Info
messages.

NOTE: Opening more than one Expert Information dialog at a time will cause all
the messages in the previously opened Expert Info dialog to disappear.

Should Qt Wireshark allow the user to open more than one Expert Information
dialog at a time?
