Sure "Can't" is too strong assertion. =) I've used second workaround you
described.

This is not lab. These are pcaps from real setup. We are developing the
telephony service and our old guru-guy who developed telephony core doesn't
want to allocate only even ports for RTP to maximize server's port range
utilization. He thinks that RFCs text doesn't deny this behavior.

So I've decided to try my luck here =)
