After much finangling with this, was able to compile just fine with cmake :
anish@cerveza /dump/workspace/crash/wireshark/run $ ./wireshark -v
Wireshark 1.99.8 (v1.99.8rc0-113-gec094b5 from master)

1.10.0, with Lua 5.2, with GnuTLS 3.4.2, with Gcrypt 1.6.3, with MIT Kerberos,
with GeoIP, without PortAudio, without AirPcap.
Running on Linux 4.0.5-1-ARCH, with locale C, with libpcap version 1.6.2, with
libz 1.2.8, with GnuTLS 3.4.2, with Gcrypt 1.6.3.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz (with SSE4.2)
Built using gcc 5.1.0.
