There's a preference.

Excepting the minor detail that you can't download the ANSI specs (for free)
I'd say we have enough info to fix this.  Maybe Geoff you could cut-n-paste the
relevant sections into the bug for those who don't have the specs?  Otherwise
I'll leave this on my TODO list (I have those specs around here somewhere).
