The error capinfos (and Wireshark and TShark and so on) report is

    The file appears to be damaged or corrupt..
    (get_record: Invalid GET length=4294901760)

(complete with the double period) when I run it with an under-development
version of libwiretap that tries to handle those records.

4294901760 is 0xFFFF0000; it might not be correctly detecting the end-of-file
record, which is a separate problem from not handling the data records at all.
