OK, what will be needed here is a new tool to convert this stream based stuff
into packet based stuff - Wireshark is not really meant to do that as there are
possibly several packets interleaved (one per timeslot). I don't see a big
problem in writing that tool, provided we are able to really understand the
content of test3.pcapng.
To be able to understand and validate the content, can you please provide the
configuration (anonymized if necessary) on the Cisco of the T1 controller and
the serial interface?

Btw, what is that trace that gets mentioned with tcp, ppp etc? I am unable to
locate it.
