I've  no idea.

Has your customer tried setting the ERSPAN dissector preference (as mentioned
in previous comments above) ?

    "fake_erspan",
    "FORCE to decode fake ERSPAN frame",
    "When set, dissector will FORCE to decode directly Ethernet Frame"
    "Some vendor use fake ERSPAN frame (with not ERSPAN Header)",

If that's not the problem, we'll need a capture file (submitted on a new bug
report) to analyze to see what's going on.
