Well, yes, the problem is that the patch for bug 6685 has not been checked in
yet (and, in fact, it's getting quite old); this is why the bug is still
"confirmed". (If the patch were checked in the bug would most likely be in the
"resolved" state.)

Theoretically you could download the patch, apply it to the Wireshark source
code, and recompile Wireshark to test out the changes but that's a fair amount
of work.

Hopefully someone who knows something about VoIP stuff can pick up that patch
and check it in some time...

ps. I'd suggest doing any followups up on the other bug; it might prompt more
discussion of the patch question.
