Hi,
This reminds me of another bug which I'm strugging to find, which refers to a
GTK problem on Windows(XP?/Server xxx) where a lot of memory is consumed by GTK
If I remember correctly early versions of >=GTK 2.18? does not have the problem
but then we are plauged by other GTK bugs insted. I'm not sure if there is a
fix
from GTK for this problem. You coud try a development build with GTK3 to see if
that works better.
