Would you still like a "timestamp range" or is just the starting absolute
timestamp enough?  i.e.  Will 

$ tshark -t ad -z io,stat,1 -r /tmp/out.pcap

as currently constructed work or does the "-t ad" portion need to be amended
with a time range?

If it needs a "time range", I'm thinking it will have to be a full "time
string", otherwise "interval rollover" may get a bit complex.
