Thanks.  You're right, the QTshark in 1.8.3 looks very premature ;), but
after adding the files, I could at least get it to compile.

As this is meant to be a production system, I regretted having to resort
to the GTk+-based version again (which caused some 7 or 8 other prerequisites
to be provided, as the system's GTk+ is too old), but eventually went that
way.

I'll have a glimpse at QTshark on my home machine some day, and will use
the SVN version then.
