Compiled (64-bit) with GLib 2.32.3, with libpcap, with libz 1.2.3.4, without
POSIX capabilities, with SMI 0.4.8, with c-ares 1.7.5, without Lua, without
Python, with GnuTLS 2.12.14, with Gcrypt 1.5.0, with MIT Kerberos, with GeoIP.

Running on Linux 3.2.0-29-generic, with locale en_US.UTF-8, with libpcap
version
1.1.1, with libz 1.2.3.4.

Built using gcc 4.6.3.

A major performance regression for the -z io,stat option appears to have crept
into the 1.8 branch of tshark.  Below shows running tshark -z io,stat,0.001
over the same capture, first with the latest code in the trunk-1.8 branch and
then again in the trunk-1.6 branch:

niels@lark:~/projects/wireshark_1_8$ time ./tshark -r zeus-sample-3.pcap -q -z
io,stat,0.001 > 1.8output.txt

real    0m15.054s
user    0m14.869s
sys    0m0.148s

niels@lark:~/projects/wireshark_1_6$ time ./tshark -r zeus-sample-3.pcap -q -z
io,stat,0.001 > 1.6output.txt

real    0m0.374s
user    0m0.288s
sys    0m0.064s

The 1.8 branch is forty times slower than the 1.6 branch.  I've attached the
zeus-sample-3.pcap capture file and output from the two runs.
