I've developed a plugin for my company's protocols. The plugin includes a tap
and 11 statistics trees, created via stats_tree_register(). Under 1.6.8 and
earlier, these statistics items appear in the Statistics menu, as expected.

I recompiled the plugin for 1.8.0. Clean compile, no errors on loading.
However, the menu items no longer appear. No errors, but no menu items.

The plugin is written in C. I've built and tested on Linux 64-bit and OSX
64-bit with the same result - no errors, but no menu items.

The plugin also includes a dialog window using GTK+, with the menu entry
created via funnel_register_menu(). Interestingly, this menu item *does* appear
in the appropriate menu, in both 1.6.8 and 1.8.0.
