Heh, had to look that acronym up ;-).  I think I'd disagree, though: the real
problem is that we don't have a way to force removal of plugin directories that
have been removed.  (Or maybe this should be phrased as a bug or limitation in
SVN: SVN will remove the files from the plugin directory, but not the directory
itself.)

The bail-out/exit is intended, though: there's a serious (development) problem
if we've got 2 dissectors with the same name trying to register.  I suppose in
this case a core dump /may/ not be that useful, but...  It certainly gets your
attention.
