In Wireshark 1.2.16, one could enter a capture filter in the Capture Filter
field of the Capture Options dialog, capture packets, then stop the capture and
go back to the Capture Options dialog. The capture filter would still be
displayed in the Capture Filter field. This was very handy in cases were you
wanted to go to the Capture Options dialog to change some other parameter, such
as a stop condition, and then resume capturing with the same capture filter in
place, or where you wanted to edit, but not completely replace, the capture
filter.

In 1.7.0, this behavior has changed. Now, every time you go to the Capture
Options dialog, the capture filter field is empty and the capture filter has
been lost. If you want to resume capturing with the same filter in place, you
have to re-enter it every time, either by manually rekeying the capture filter,
or by picking it from the capture filter pull-down history list.

It would be a nice enhancement if the Capture Filter field could be made
persistant again, as in 1.2.16, so that capture filters could be reused without
having to be typed in again every time.
