I've developed a dissector for the Open DeviceNet Vendor Associations new
protocol: CIP Motion. This protocol allows control of servos in industrial
automation applications over off the shelf Ethernet. More information about the
protocol can be found here:
http://www.odva.org/Home/ODVATECHNOLOGIES/CIP/CIPTechnologyOverview/CIPMotion/tabid/71/lng/en-US/language/en-US/Default.aspx
The patch is attached to this record. It was fuzz tested against 6 different
capture files.
We've also been using internal-to-Rockwell builds of Wireshark with this
dissector for sometime already. Now that we are shipping product that uses the
protocol I would like to get the dissector into the supported build.
