I have 4 interfaces. Windows XP lists them reasonably well:
VMware Network Adapter VMnet1
VMware Network Adapter VMnet8
VMware Network Adapter VMnet2
ローカル エリア接続
(The last one translates as Local Area Connection.)

The Wireshark startup screen lists the interfaces this way:
Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection (Micr ...
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter
VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter

I can guess which one is the real physical local area connection.

As for which VMware adapter is which, I have confirmed that Wireshark doesn't
even list them in the same order Microsoft did.

The screen for detailed Capture Options gives GUIDs for each VMware adapter but
still doesn't say which is which in a human readable manner.

Please try to retrieve names that Microsoft displays. Even if we lose the
descriptive information about the Intel adapter, at least the user can see
which is which.
