Running on Linux 2.6.35-27-generic, with libpcap version 1.1.1, with libz
1.2.3.4, GnuTLS 2.8.6, Gcrypt 1.4.5.

Built using gcc 4.4.5.

In regards to the following lines in autogen.sh


# Check for python. There's no "--version" option!
python -c "print 'Checking for python.'"
if [ $? != 0 ] ; then
...


"--version" is indeed an option for python and in my opinion should be used
instead to check for a python install
