I think a better work-around is not to use Wireshark for long-term multi-file
capturing, but use dumpcap instead.  dumpcap is stateless and uses a lot less
memory.  It can essentially run forever.  Use Wireshark for post
viewing/analysis of the already captured files from dumpcap.
