I work in an environment with a lot of IBM mainframes and it is often necessary
that I see packet data represented as EBCDIC instead of ASCII. I am aware that
Wireshark does have the ability to display this as EBCDIC because that option
is available in the Follow TCP Stream window, but I would very much like to
have the option of enabling this in the main Packet Bytes pane. A quick
right-click option (similar to the Hex View/Bits View) would be absolutely
ideal. This is the *only* issue I have with using Wireshark as my one and only
packet analyzer. Please consider this!
