Using the 1.3.x and the 1.4 rc1 try this:
Make sure you are capuring data.
Filter on DNS
right click on one of the IP's in the upper pane and select:
- prepare a filer > selected
Wireshark will crash. Tryed it on XP and Windows7.
I could not reproduce this in 1.2.9
