If I build Wireshark from source, the highlighted background color in the
packet detail pane is a darker blue.

It appears that this is due to the gtkrc file distributed with the OS X
distribution choosing pale blue for some reason.  If I get rid of the gtkrc
file - and the script that generates it (the script tries to get GUI
preferences from OS X and generate a matching gtkrc file), the colors are the
same as they are in the version of Wireshark I built from source.
