I'm not sure if these two issues are somewhat related, but I have noticed that
when trying to convert some Apple IP-over-1394 and raw MTP2 sample packet
captures (separate files, in libpcap format), the packets are written into a
pcap-ng file, but they become "lost"/inaccessible when the resulting file is
loaded into Wireshark.

Sadly, I do not have hardware or software capable of generating these
link-layer protocols, so it is difficult to see if capturing them directly into
a pcap-ng file will make a difference.
