I don't know whether mtPaint:

    http://mtpaint.sourceforge.net/

has any text fields, but it's a free program that, like Wireshark, uses the
GTK+ toolkit to implement its GUI. Try downloading it and, if it has any text
fields in any dialogs, try typing in them when you're connected via LANDesk
Remote Control. If that doesn't work, it's a bug in GTK+.

Another GTK+-based application that runs on Windows is the GIMP:

    http://www.gimp.org/windows/

(which was the original "G" in "GTK+"; GTK+ was originally developed as the
toolkit for the GIMP); it's an image-manipulation program. If *it* has any
text fields, try that.
