In the MIB file, comments begin with a # (pound sign) or - - (two dashes) and
continue to the end of the line.
I put my MIB file into [Wireshark]\snmp\mibs
Restart Wireshark and let him rebuild [Wireshark]\snmp\mibs\.index
But one of my MIB file are not included in the index file.
I try to remove some lines of that file, trial and error, finally I found the
problem. The following line cause this bug:
-- my comment --- 123
I do more test:
dash count : 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
parse result : o o x x o o x x o o
dash count:
how many dashes inside a comment line, ex:
2 means: -- abcxyz -- aaaaaa
5 means: -- abcxyz ----- aaaaaa
parse result:
'o' means parse successfully
'x' means parse failed
